Inish Beg Gardens & Woodlands

Located between Skibbereen and Baltimore, Inish Beg island is home to a 40 hectare estate with woodlands containing tree ferns, bamboo, several ponds, bird hides and carriage drives. The estate also includes a walled garden complete with glass house and fruit cages, a sunken garden with a fountain, a cherry drive, orchard, an avenue lined with daffodils and two woodland gardens. The gardens are part of the West Cork Garden Trail and feature in the book “100 Best Gardens in Ireland” published in 2011. At the West Cork hotel, we are just 11 minutes drive from this scenic haven.
