West Cork Summer Celebrations by the Sea

There is just 10 Days to go to the Union Hall Festival by the Sea, which will officially begin on Sunday 21st July when it is opened by Hollywood actor Jeremy Irons. Following a Gathering Mass in the church, Jeremy Irons will open the ten-day summer gathering that will include a family sports day, a fancy dress parade led by the Millstreet Pipe Band and St Fachtna’s Silver Band and a whole host of other activities such as sports, music, games, dancing, angling and delicious local produce that will showcase to both locals and visitors the very best of what the fishing village has to offer. Offering something for all ages and all interests, the Union Hall Festival by the Sea is planning to capture the village spirit within the community, which is as renown as its fishing and famed local produce.
