2015 West Cork Chamber Music Festival

The West Cork Chamber Music Festival is set to take place this weekend from the 26th June until the 4th July. The festival takes place in the heart of West Cork in Bantry and this year marks it’s 20th anniversary. The eight day long festival will feature 37 separate concerts and 101 different works in the spectacular Bantry House & Gardens and St. Brendan’s Church.

This year’s festival promises not to disappoint with the very best in classical musicians from all over the world set to perform. Some of the world-class works set to be featured over the eight days include Beethoven’s Archduke Trip, Schubert’s Trout, Mendelssohn’s Octet, Brahm’s Piano Quintet and more.

The eight day festival will be home to the world’s most famous classical musicians including Alina Ibragimova, Vivane Hagner, Brett Dean,  Vanbrugh Quartet, Borodin Quartet, Signum Quartet amongst many others. The international affair is set to host approximately 35 solo artists from 14 countries.  With an action packed programme the festival is truly a global classical phenomenom.
