Yet another successful Burns Supper Event

We were delighted to host yet another succcessful Burns Supper event last weekend at our hotel in West Cork. The now annual Burns supper event took place on Saturday last, the 24th January at our West Cork accommodation. There was a great turn out on the evening with many joining in the celebrations of Scottish tradition. 

Guests soaked up the atmosphere and enjoyed a sumptuous meal with Scottish influences at the Kennedy restaurant in Skibbereen. Afterwards guests enjoyed traditions such as a wee dram, haggis, poetry recitals in the Bridge Bar. When it comes to pubs in Skibbereen, the Bridge Bar is perfectly suited to hosting such an evening with its relaxed ambiance and cosy snug!  Both Scottish expats and local residents of Skibbereen were intrigued by the local traditiions enjoyed by all on the evening.
