This weekend in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation, the Baltimore Walking Festival takes place (27th and 28th September) A great way to get out and about, walking festivals are a great way to explore the sights of the local countryside including is history and wildlife.  Supporting a great cause if you are in search og things to do in West Cork this weekend, the walking festival promises  not to disappoint as you explore the countryside with like-minded individuals. There is also even an expert guide on hand to identify and explain points of interest along the way.

Suitable for people of all ages and mobility, some of the walks can be quite leisurely however others are more strenous, so choose carefully! There is also an opportunity for a refreshment at the end of each walk and the weekend also promises to include a programme of entertainment.
