TV chef Donal Skehan hosts Health & Well-being evening

TV chef Donal Skehan presented the Health & Well-being evening in association with SPAR in support of COPE Foundation & ‘A Taste of West Cork’ at The West Cork Hotel recently. The event proved to be one of the more popular things to do in Skibbereen during October.

Donal Skehan was special guest star where he did a cooking demonstration and autographed books and posed for photographs with fans. There was a full house of food enthusiasts including many Donal Skehan & Alan Shannon fans! Both Chefs cooked up a storm and their tasty recipes could be found in the fabulous goody bags everyone received upon leaving the event.

The event also attracted many local food businesses who gave out samples of their delicious food & beverages.  including Drinagh Spar Skibbereen, Carbery, Glenilen Farm, Gubeen Cheese, Clona, Drombeg Irish Liqueur and Caherbeg Free Range Pork.
