Congratulations “Spielmanns- und Fanfarenzug Hahn Nethen”

As everyone around the county and city reflect upon what was a successful inaugural Cork Rebel Week Festival, we would like give special praise to Skibbereen Rebel Week, which was also a successful affair, and offer our huge congratulations to the committee who brought over the wonderful “Spielmanns- und Fanfarenzug Hahn Nethen” Marching Band, who won best visiting marching band for Cork Rebel Week.

The magnificent German Marching Band winners “Spielmanns- und Fanfarenzug Hahn Nethen” were welcomed to the West Cork Hotel last week by Skibbereen’s St Fachtna’s Silver Band, who played in the lobby, before being entertained at a civic Gala reception within our Ballroom.

The parade in Cork was an occasion not to be missed and the band that made out hotel in West Cork home for a few days were simply superb to watch.

Congratulations again to “Spielmanns- und Fanfarenzug Hahn Nethen” and the Skibbereen Rebel Week Committee!
