Excitement All-round as The Celtic Cook Off returns!

Following the success of the Celtic Cook Off in 2011 and 2012 – the event returns this year, taking place at the West Cork Hotel on Wednesday 11th September as part of the A Taste of West Cork Food Festival. Yet again we will be entertained as 6 Chefs from the Celtic nations cook against each other and the clock with a bag of West Cork produce and one wildcard ingredient from their territory to impress the panel of 6 guest judges! We can also confirm that this year, we will be welcoming back Celtic Cook Off 2012 winner Gary O’Hanlon from Viewmount House, County Longford to cook a tasting menu meal in our Kennedy restaurant in Skibbereen in a evening we are calling “A Taste of VM with Gary O’Hanlon”. The evening shall be one not to be missed as Gary prepares a meal that represents what he does in his own restaurant and combines the best of County Longford with the very best of West Cork produce.
