Love and Marriage event hosted by Daithí Ó Sé this weekend only at the West Cork Hotel

Beginning on Saturday night, we with the help of special host Dáithí Ó Sé will help singles meet their match in our very own Blind Date, and discover just how well couples know each other in out Mr and Mrs competition, before opening our doors on Sunday to showcase to future brides and grooms just why we are the perfect West Cork Wedding Venue. Once referred to as the place for West Cork families to match make their sons and daughters, The Snug recently opened again at the West Cork Hotel. It’s thought that hundreds of marriages were once arranged here and on Saturday 6th October we are hoping to reawaken this legend as the popular host of The Rose of Tralee Dáithí Ó Sé will play cupid to a host of singletons looking for love. Priced just €20, tickets for this romantic and fun event on Saturday night are available now from the hotel or can be purchased on the night and all proceeds will be going to Cancer Connect, which is responsible for transporting Cancer Treatment patience from all over West Cork to Cork on a daily basis. Our very own Deputy Manager, Elaine Hill said “I often hear stories of how matches were made for previous generations in the Snug, so we thought it was time to relive a little bit of this history, albeit in a more modern way! The night is guaranteed to be great fun and will also aid local charity, Cancer Connect.”
