The busy month of September in West Cork

In a few days we will be in September and that means that it is finally time for the annual A Taste of West Cork food festival, happening in and around Skibbereen from 10th – 16th September. Before the fun and festivities begin though and to get you truly salivating in anticipation for this year’s events, RTE’s Nationwide programme will feature a special report on the Celtic Cook Off, with footage from the 2011 event on RTE 1 next Wednesday 5th September at 7:00pm. A popular event in last year’s festival, the fun and informative Cooking Show – The Celtic Cook Off returns to the West Cork Hotel again this year. Taking place on Wednesday 12th September, it will yet again showcase the best of West Cork produce cooked using each Celtic Chef’s interpretations and twists, and this year the line up of top Celtic Chef’s includes; .
