West Cork's Valerie Deady for The Cork Rose of Tralee

The West Cork Hotel are proudly sponsoring this year, Valerie Deady from Skibbereen, who is one of the 47 entrants from Cork hoping to be selected as this year's Cork's Rose of Tralee. All entrants are be between 18-27 years of age and the overall winner from the Cork region, will go on to represent Cork at the Rose of Tralee Festival, which takes between the 17th - 21st August. 19 year old Valerie has already been through her individual interviews with the 3 judges, and tonight she will take to the stage at the Silver Springs Hotel in Cork with 20 of the other entrants. The remainder of the entrants will take the stage on Saturday night, and Ollie Turner from Galway will oversee proceedings. After all the entrants have been seen on stage and the judges have deliberated, The Cork Rose of Tralee will finally be annouced at the end of the evening this Saturday.
