This Sunday 27th January at the West Cork Hotel we hosted our popular Wedding Event, and yet again it was a huge success, with plenty of brides-and-grooms-to-be visiting us to make the most of the huge array of information available.
Whether browsing the stands, talking to our dedicated West Cork Hotel Wedding Team, sampling the delicious treats, attending the wedding wear fashion show or admiring our facilities. There was something for everyone to enjoy at our wedding venue in West Cork this Sunday.
Starting the day on the right foot, there was Prosecco, Sasha’s Cosmopolitans and West Cork Sunshine Cocktails as well as some mouth-watering Canapés for all our couples on arrival.
For the sweet-toothed amongst our guests there was a Chocolate fountain, Cupcakes and Macaroons, and if that was not enough our brilliant Head Chef Aidan O’Driscoll, cooked up a storm at his cookery Demonstration, which included his Baked local Black Pudding, Hake and Steak dishes.
The magnificent Karen from Weddings by Karen was on hand and on top form offering tips to Brides and Grooms on the latest trends in the Industry and how to reduce the stress levels, and a definite big hit of the day was the Fashion Show accompanied by delightful background music by Ceolann and showcasing Bridal wear, Bridesmaid dresses, Mother of the Bride wear and Menswear outfits from a range of suppliers including; Brides of Éire, Sean Murray’s and Fiona’s of Skibbereen.
A fantastic day that was enjoyed by all and surpassed our expectations, we here at the West Cork Hotel cannot wait for the next one or to begin assisting some of you as you begin planning your magical day.



Nearly-weds in attendance at our wedding event shall also have the opportunity to view and take part in cookery demonstrations and wine tastings, as well as access a range of local and national wedding suppliers that shall be joining us for the day, meet Karen from Weddings by Karen Buchanan, and enjoy our bridal fashion show, which will highlight the latest in bridal fashion for both brides and grooms.
